Probably the best indoor panoramic view of Oxford

Guests can enjoy pre dinner drinks in the attic area. A cosy and intimate space with a welcoming feel, your guests can learn about the venue’s fascinating history through our colourful display boards and historical talks. The real ‘wow’ factor comes from the view from the Cupola at the very top of the building. Protected from the elements, your guests will enjoy one of the best indoor panoramic views across Oxford’s famous dreaming spires skyline – a real photo opportunity!

The dining range

After drinks, guests are taken into the main theatre for dinner where they can gaze up at the Theatre’s magnificent ceiling painted during the reign of King Charles II. Choose between three fabulous dining experiences suitable for 30-100 guests. These include:

– A standing or seated buffet
– Three-course seated fine dining
– A sophisticated street food dinner concept

Guests who choose the second option can also opt for a ‘Live Theatre’ experience with an open kitchen amid the dinner tables. They can watch chefs craft their dish just metres away before devouring it, and ask them about its inspiration and origins. Our other venues

If you regularly organise events and are looking for a variety of different dinner venues then why not consider some of our other historical venues such as the Examination Schools and St Luke’s Chapel? The Examination Schools provides an ideal setting for large dinners of up to 330 guests and St Luke’s provides a great cosy venue and great dining space for smaller sized dinners of 20 up to 60 guests.
