Objectives and aims

The organisers were looking for a venue with an impressive backdrop for their events, which ranged from children’s workshops and authors talks to a musical production and a performance of “Just a Minute”. The venue had to be large enough to accommodate the audience for many high profile speakers such as Hilary Mantel and Jeremy Paxman.

Solutions

With seating for 800 people over four levels the Theatre was able to create a stunning and intimate scene for all of the events. We were able to provide a stage for the speakers, along with AV and PA systems to suit their requirements. A book stall was set up within the theatre and an area for authors to host book signings after the talk. Overall the Theatre provided a practical and beautiful venue for this high profile event.
