Freya Parche

Freya joined OUEV in 2023 as a recent events management graduate, sparked by her interest in heritage venues.  She has worked in the events industry for the past six years, bringing a range of experience in event planning, venues, festivals and community outreach to her role. Freya particularly enjoys creating memorable experiences for attendees and getting to meet and build relationships with her customers.

What has been your favourite memory at OUEV?

“Being part of the dream team that delivers Matriculation, welcoming 8,000 students to the Sheldonian Theatre in one day!”

What's your superpower at work?

“Always finding something to laugh or be excited about, even on the busiest of days.”

What's a fun fact about yourself?

“As a native German, my favourite thing is bread and I have finally mastered the art of homemade Pretzels 🥨”

“Freya is responsible for coordinating a wide range of events across the OUEV portfolio - from Degree Ceremonies, concerts, conferences and more. She particularly enjoys networking and building strong and productive work relationships. Freya has achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Events Management from Oxford Brookes University, where she was also awarded the prize for Best Events Management Dissertation.” - Ellen
