Our catering concepts – ‘Occasions’ and ‘Only at Oxford’

We’ve appointed a new caterer who provides delicious and sustainably sourced food for a wide variety of events across our venues including dinners, conferences, drinks receptions, day meetings, weddings and much more. See our new menu here.

Marketed under two different brands, ‘Occasions’ and ‘Only at Oxford’, the first is our most popular range and is about delicious everyday eating while ‘Only at Oxford’ provides high-end dining experiences.

Food that creates memorable experiences

Recent events under the ‘Only at Oxford’ range have included creating an urban street food market for 400 guests, which served an eclectic mix of food. Much of this focused on regional food from the UK, including mutton curry from Mr Lloyd’s farm in Llangybi, Wales, and spud wraps filled with braised beef short rib from Mr Kidner’s farm in Bristol, Oxford Blue cheese, celeriac mash, watercress and a tasty jus.

Desserts included a customisable crème brulée bar, freshly bruléed to order in seconds, and an apple bar with a selection of delicious seasonal apples finished with a choice of toffees, custards and creams.
