Objectives and aims

Our client, Devialet, who are makers of high end speakers and amplifiers hired the Sheldonian in conjunction with Oxford Audio Consultants to bring some lost recordings of Ella Fitzgerald to life. Before the recordings were played, the client gave a presentation about their high quality speakers. These were then placed throughout the Theatre providing surround sound for the invited guests to enjoy Ella’s flexible, wide-ranging and ageless voice.

After the presentation the 200 guests enjoyed a drinks reception within the main theatre and guests visited the Cupola at the very top of the Theatre. It had been lit for the occasion and provided guests with a spectacular panoramic view of Oxford’s dazzling skyline.
